Kai from the Sea

Kai is compact restaurant which can accommodate approximately a 10-15 guests. The menu looks great. They do have chicken options on their menu and some veg dishes as well. The quantity is quite good. As I’ve a small appetite, we did have leftovers from mains. Food review: The calamari fritty was quite disappointing. If if wasn’t for the garlic mayo, I would have not been able to eat. The laksa was quite good. They give you the Laksa soup and the noodle, bean sprouts, prawn, Bok choy and brown onions separately. It’s worth a try The jammoong was good but much to my liking. It’s mildly spicy- I can handle heavy spice so make sure to check once on the spice levels before you place an order. The iced tea was quite interesting with how pretty it looks- but it’s heavily sweet- again the taste perspectives here can differ. This was lemon iced tea. They also serve peach iced tea. Loved their dessert menu the most! We ordered the filter coffee tiramisu. As against the classic, this has rum in it.

If you're a seafood lover this is a must must visit place. However, you need to reserve cause it's a very small place where it has only 4 tables. The ambience is neat and pleasant. Must try the ghee roasted prawns, softshell crab. We also had Parotta with mutton gravy which just melted and the prawn friedrice is to die for. Finally we finished it off with a Tiramisu ❤️ It's a bit pricey but the food is worth it.
